Hello there! This is where my husband and I write about our wonderful and difficult life.

This blog started because I’m an insomniac. I just got to college and I started writing in the middle of the night because I couldn’t sleep and meditation really wasn’t working for me.

It has followed me throughout college, my LDS mission to Italy, and now my marriage adventures.

I am a lover of all things Italian, reading, writing, traveling, and tulips. My faith is the most important thing in my life and I love to share how it helps me every day.  I love to write about all things from the books I am reading to our latest travel itinerary.

My husband Dallin loves to cook, do DIY projects, and is a pretty good photographer. Unfortunately, I am none of these, so you’re stuck with me. I don’t have any adorable babies (yet) and I’m not a teacher either. But, I meet the basic blogger girl requirement of loving Diet Coke, so hello blogging world.  1 for 6, not bad.

Right now I work full-time for a great company and we live in the beautiful town of St. George, Utah. My husband is a real estate appraiser for Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. Together we run the caffeinated hot chocolate company, Rogue Cocoa. We love hanging out with family playing Settlers of Catan or sitting by the pool reading.  We also love to travel the world and find the least expensive ways to do it!

So if you are interested in following along with our little family, stick around. We’ll be sure to entertain and hopefully inspire.
